A Dynamic Duo
Angela Cring and Nikole Haumont met online during a live course they both actively participated in. Angela’s red hair and bold personality stand out in the Facebook feed, and the two quickly connect as accountability partners. They begin meeting virtually every two weeks, building a strong friendship rooted in mutual respect and shared ambition. After almost a year of virtual collaboration, they finally met in person in Las Vegas in March 2025.
As their time in Vegas wrapped up, Angela turns to Nikole and said, “I want to plan a women’s conference with you!” The idea stuck with Nikole, and after a few days of reflection—and a conversation with her COO—she committed. That spontaneous moment sparked what became Press Play, Not Pause, a virtual summit for women navigating midlife transitions.
Angela and Nikole share the belief that women should be empowered to share their wisdom. Especially during the perimenopausal and menopausal phases of life, they see a need for more honest conversations, supportive communities, and space for women to grow, connect, and thrive. They combine Angela’s expertise producing live events for speakers through ACE Events with Shield Bar Marketing’s marketing strengths to create something meaningful—an event that empowers women while showcasing the best of what they each bring to the table.

Nikole Haumont
Nikole Haumont believes in leading with heart and rolling up her sleeves—whether she’s guiding a marketing strategy or hosting a women’s summit that sparks real change. A visionary who also gets things done, she empowers her team and clients through practical strategy, creative marketing, and a deep belief in continuous growth.
An entrepreneur at heart, Nikole co-founded her first business at age 23 and sold it six years later. She launched Shield Bar Marketing in 2013 and expanded her impact further by acquiring another marketing agency in 2024. Whether she’s helping small businesses forge a path to prosperity or sharing wisdom with women navigating midlife, Nikole shows up with clarity, curiosity, and compassion.
Outside of work, you’ll find her playing golf with her son, hanging out with family, or whipping up dinner (as long as someone else handles the cleanup).
And yes—she really does have a steel German carousel horse in her backyard.
